A full spectrum of treatment services are offered to adult men and women clients, dependent upon their individual needs as assessed at intake and throughout their participation in the program. A caring, safe and structured environment is provided in a comforting, beautifully decorated home environment. This comforting small environment allows the addicted client to open up to the services being offered and bond with others seeking the same peace of mind away from the pressures of everyday life and without the use or pressures to use alcohol or drugs to survive.
Our multi-disciplinary treatment team is comprised of credentialed addictions specialists, licensed professionals, facility managers, interns and community outreach coordinators. The majority who themselves are recovering addicts, whose personal experience in active addiction, and being in recovery, provide the clients with not only a bond of identification, but an ability to break through psychological and cultural barriers while serving as credible and positive role models for the clients. Women’s Recovery Drug and Alcohol Treatment
Action Recovery Services Women's Residential drug treatment centers provide a private recovery facility away from distractions that allow women to address their personal issues surrounding their addiction and alcoholism. Action Recovery Services comprehensive gender specific chemical dependency living area provides a structured environment that begins with residential treatment after the withdrawal process and extends through aftercare planning.
Gender specific living environments are especially important in the treatment of women with drug addiction, alcoholism, eating disorders, and co-occurring disorders, as women have gender specific issues that often need to be dealt with in a specialized women's drug and alcohol environment. Action Recovery Services women's drug and alcohol treatment program take into account all of these characteristics when analyzing and providing treatment.

Interventions
Our staff will be of assistance in every step of the recovery process. We help families using a multi-faceted approach to recovery. If necessary, our staff will help facilitate interventions intended to demonstrate to the addicted family member how their actions are detrimental to themselves, as well as hurtful to the entire family. This process is conducted in a supportive and caring fashion to ensure the subject of intervention does not feel attacked or persecuted. Our aim is to help, not hurt.
Dual Diagnosis
Action Recovery is a State Licensed Dual Diagnosis Treatment program for both men and women. Our psychiatrist was one of the pioneers that brought chemical dependency and psychiatric disorders together in treatment. It is difficult to obtain sobriety without addressing both in treatment. We have a unique program that is used to address addiction along with depression, bi polar, ADD, ADHD along with other disorders. Medication management along with group and individual sessions are most effective.
Relapse Prevention
Identify relapse triggers-sober support system, alternative ways of coping with emotions, change people, places and things, appropriate discharge planning.
Aftercare
Aftercare is very important to the individual in their early recovery and actually begins while the client is in treatment. The client presents a discharge plan to a counselor establishing a support system such as, 12-step meetings and counseling. Our treatment team will provide any information needed to prepare our clients in this very important time in their recovery. Group and individual session are available after completion of the program. Our goal is for our clients to be prepared to cope with situations without the use of any mind altering chemicals. Action Recovery Services, Inc will be available by phone or in a treatment setting to assist our alumni to continue their recovery.
Family Sessions
We know that this is a very sensitive time for you as a family member who is affected by the problems caused by the active drug or alcohol use of a loved one. We will provide support to the family from the first phone call to after treatment by providing group, individual sessions and information on outside support groups in assisting the family in processing their own feelings and setting appropriate boundaries. We as family members tend to be on a roller coaster ride with our loved one. During this process you will be provided with the education and a support system of your own.
Family Sessions May Include:
Education and groups regarding setting boundaries, roles, communication and support for the family members.
