Action Recovery Services’ mission is the based on the belief that addiction is a treatable disease and that medical, psychological and social problems can be treated in an effective manner and that individuals may become alcohol/drug-free and enjoy a satisfying, productive life. In order to establish a foundation for ongoing recovery from addiction, the individual must not only recognize and accept the need for abstinence from mood and mind altering chemicals but must also undergo changes in his or her behavior, attitude, values, beliefs, and lifestyle. Such changes are explored within the client’s cultural and ethical worldview.
The multi-disciplinary treatment team is comprised of credentialed addictions specialists, licensed professionals, facility managers, interns and community outreach coordinators. Culturally diverse staff is representative of the population Action Recovery Services serves.

To the families
We know that this is a very sensitive time for you as a family member who is affected by the problems caused by the active drug or alcohol use of a loved one. We will provide support to the family from the first phone call and after treatment is completed; by providing group, individual sessions and information on outside support groups. We will be here to assist the family in processing their own feelings and setting appropriate boundaries that have developed over time while the addict was active is his or her drug and alcohol use. We as family members tend to be on a roller coaster ride with our loved one. During this process you will be provided with the education and a support system of your own. Alcoholism and addiction affects the whole family system and Action Recovery will serve you to better understand these addiction issues. We strive to make the whole family well.
